reflexive verbs

Hi everyone!

What exactly are reflexive verbs? Could you give me a couple of examples?

it's a form which points, that someone doing smth to himself.
for example
мыть - мыться
одевать - одеваться
смотреть - смотреться

it like adding after verb pronoun "себя"
(мыть себя = мыться,
одевать себя = одеваться,
смотреть (на) себя = смотреться)

In both your examples the past participle saluГ©/assis agrees with the subject les amis/Monique, so yes you need to use an ending -e for the feminine, -s for the plural. This is because all reflexive verbs use the auxiliary 'ГЄtre' in the perfect tense, and the past participle of a verb using 'ГЄtre' always agrees with the subject.
