So I am a Rosetta Stone student, and I am curious about why some of the things are what they are. I know it has something to do with the case system, but I just can't quite figure out which one.

Here is an example. I know that "семья в доме" means "family in home." Which case makes me add an e to дом?

In this phrase the Prepositional case is used.
