Russian Gerunds for "Sealing" & "carving"

Hi all,
From Google, I got the following Russian translation:
China's Eastern Han Dynasty historian Ban Gu went with the army north forwardly. After the army defeated the Huns, Ban Gu did the "Sealing Yan Ran Mountain" stone carving on the cliff, as a monument for the history of the earliest victory in the frontier of ancient China.= Историк из истории Восточной династии Китая Пан Гу отправился с армией на север вперед. После того, как армия победила гуннов, Бан Гу сделал камень «Уплотнение Янь Рань», вырезанный на скале, как памятник истории самой ранней победы на границе древнего Китая.
(1) I am learning the Russian Gerunds. I am not able to know the Russian Gerunds for "Sealing" & "carving" in the above translation are correct or not.
(2) I feel the Russian translation is not right in the Russian grammar and wording/vocabularies [beside the (1)].
Please help, comment and respond.
Thanks in advance,
Scott Chang
