verbs of motion поездить / походить

Why do we use this case here? And this verb? What rule should I use here?

verbs of motion поездить / походить

Postby Canary » Jun 30th, 15, 14:00

Здравствуйте, друзья!

I have a question about the usage of verbs like поездить / походить / поплавать etc. They seem to be perfective verbs of motion but I'm not sure how to use them, can I say this:
- Где Антон?
- Он походил в кино.

Could you give me more examples on how to use them, please.

До свидания!

привет!
ПОделать что-то is often used after the verb люблю, for example
люблю ПОболтать вечерком по телефону с подружкой.
люблю ПОпить чайку в хорошей компании.
люблю ПОкататься на скейтборде после работы.
люблю ПОваляться с утра в постели.

and after the verb пойду, for example
пойду поработаю/посплю немножко.
пойду-ка я поплаваю.
пойдем чайку попьем!

some more examples:
чего бы мне такого ПОделать? (a person asks oneself when he/she feels dull and wants to do something)
он пару недель ПОходил на занятия и бросил.
я ПОмолилась и легла спать.
сегодня мне пришлось много ПОездить по городу.

your example
- Где Антон?
- Он походил в кино - is incorrect
/the correct answer is Антон УШЁЛ в кино

- Где Антон?
- Он походил в кино.
