the word часы

Postby machine_head » Aug 14th, 15, 14:45

Hi everyone!

I wonder if часы is clock or watch? How do I make a difference? And also, how can I stress out that it's only one clock/watch and not many if the word часы is always plural?

Thanks a lot for your help!

There is no difference between clock and watch in Russian. Everything that shows time is часы. This word is always plural.
