Hi everyone!

Could you please help me with those tricky words starting with кое- like кое-что / кое-где / кое-кто etc. I can barely understand the difference between что-то and что-нибудь, and now I came across кое-что and my head is about to explode :) Please explain how to use them!!

Спасибо огромное, дорогие друзья!

We use кое-что / кое-где / кое-кто when we know everything about that person, thing, event or place.
We just don't name them. We don't want to explain (for any reason).

Я видел кое-кого. I know him, but i won't tell you who he was.
Я делаю кое-что. I am busy and It does not matter what exactly i do.
Я был кое-где. Where? It is none of your business (It is a secret).
