"ride a bike"
Hi everyone!
I have a question about "riding a bike". Is there any difference between ехать на велосипеде and кататься на велосипеде? And also, it the prepositional case that we always use with на?

animal sounds
Hello everyone!
I have the following question: what sound does the pig make in Russian? Does it say something like ойнк-ойнк? If you could also tell me the sounds for these animals, would be of great help to me:
- horse
- duck
- hen and chicks
Thanks!

one word, different stress
Здравствуйте!
I'd like some help with words that are written the same but have different stress like замок (lock) and замок (castle). Can you think of more couples? It would be of great help, otherwise I'll have to look through the whole dictionary

the origin of детям мороженое...
Привет!
I have this task to find out from which movie is the phrase: Детям мороженое, бабам цветы.
And another question about the same sentence: Can I always use баба instead of женщина? Or is baba more like an old woman (like бабушка)?
Спасибо за помощь!

pronunciation of vowels
Привет! I'm studying Russian phonetics on my own and I'd like to know why I notice the following changes in the pronunciation of vowels: Как дела - sounds like di-la and not dye-la девять - sounds like dye-vyet and not dye-vyat шоколад - she-ka-lat - sha-ka-lat Are there any rules that explain that?...
