Minor mishaps are called a fender bender. They are also called dents, dings or scuffs. I see at least one major wreck daily, usually more. The most dramatic I've seen is a semi truck on fire. That is great! I'm sure someone could get the word 'tequila' in it with some rearranging. There's one in English you may have heard of. "It's the alcohol talking." Doesn't mean the inebriated person is saying their sober thoughts. It usually means that the person is saying something unchar...

Just to clarify, you can use imperfective verbs in all 3 tenses. Example: Past - Я читала книгу. It means that I spent time reading a book in the past, but I did not finish. Present - Я читаю книгу. That means I am reading a book now. I am not stating an intent to finish the book. Future - Вечером, ...

Russian nouns ending in ь can be он, она, or оно. When you memorize the noun, you memorize the gender as well.
A good way to do this is memorize an adjective along with the noun. The gender of the adjective will remind you of gender of the noun.
