How to say тют?

Postby rchiu5hk » Jun 23rd, 18, 20:12

I am learning Russian in first lesson. My question is about pronunciation.
In the word, when matching with тут, The first T is [d].
But how about when тют, the first T and second T should be what? as this case ю which is soft vowel, It will make T become [ts], I just suspect it will affect which one T. And is there any difference between first and second T??

Nusya is correct, the spelling of the word is "тут". Growing up in a bilingual Russian/English family, it just sounded like the English word, "toot," to me. I'm here to try to remember the Russian I have learned and forgotten.
