I have been watching a few Russian language videos on Youtube and I have heard two version of the word for closed.

Version A = закрыто

Version B = близка

What is the difference? and when are they used?

Thanks!

hi.
Close = Закрывать.

Example: Close the door (Закрой дверь)
He closed the door = Он закрыл дверь.

Близка... perhaps близко?

Близко = nearly
The new year draws near = Новый год уже близко
