Russian slang: cool and awesome

Postby jburke33wfwf » Mar 1st, 15, 00:20

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knows a few examples of everyday slang used in Russia. Nothing too obscene please, just words such as "cool" or "awesome" etc.

Thanks :)

Hi there,

'awesome' and 'cool' in the sense of 'good' can be translated as кла́ссный, клё́вый, круто́й, отпа́дный, прико́льный, ку́льный, офиге́нный, офиги́тельный, обалде́нный, охрени́тельный, чё́ткий;

'earn money' is the meaning of the following expressions: руби́ть капу́сту, руби́ть бабло́, руби́ть ба́бки;

'dude' can be translated as чува́к, мужи́к, чел, брата́н, прия́тель, сала́га, паца́н.
